Practice these tunes lots! It is recommended to upload these to an MP3 player of sorts, which can be played easily within your daily practice area of your home. Here is a link to a sight where you may download the entire SOUNDSTART for BAND CD#1 (first 70 tracks), as a ZIP file:

There are multiple accompaniment tracks available for the same tunes, but make sure you only select the track numbers listed on your sheet of music. These different track numbers provide accompaniment music at different tempos. The wrong track number , but same tune name might possibly be in the wrong key completely…..and confiusion will ensue!
The “SOLOS” track, if listed for a particular tune, usually has the fasted tempo. It may repeat over and over and be more convenient to play along with, but if will likely be too quick to begin with.
Remember: Note accuracy, fingering, breathing (lots of air!), posture, tone and tonguing! Please master all of these items before moving onto a faster tempo.
